Wilderness Road Therapeutic Camping Association
WRTCA was started in 1994 to preserve in practice among member organizations the principles of therapeutic camping developed by Campbell Loughmiller and implemented by Buford McKenzie (Chief Mac) during forty years of camping. The association exists to offer mutual support to member camps in dealing with current issues surrounding therapeutic camping as we move into the future.
